My friend and supporter Colette is taking my crazy quilt class series, and here is her version of the flat angel. She turned hers into Spirit Angels. The first two pictures are the mama angel with her baby. Next is Dream Spirit, and then Love Spirit.
I think the angels are fantastic! A really awesome interpretation of my pattern, based on a pattern from Wild Art Dolls. Colette is really creative and adventurous! I really like how unrestrained her embroidery is; kind of wild and loose, not confined to tidy regularity. Be sure to click on the images so you can see the details, especially the um, boobies
